Changelog
What’s new in each version of Clark for Mac. From 0.5.1, Clark updates itself: when a new version is ready, you install it from the menu bar.
Get the latest versionYour AIs can delete a to-do when you ask them to. It moves to Hidden, where Restore puts it back, and they can’t delete a note.
- The window’s close, minimize and full screen buttons are back.
- On Your list, the details panel opens only when you open an item, and its button shows only then.
- Clicking anywhere else lets go of the search field.
- No more scroll bars, and Your list scrolls without lag.
- When an AI says a to-do is done, its details show that once instead of twice, and its card now says when the AI takes it back.
- Clearer wording across Clark, in English and Spanish.
Fixed a bug that stopped call audio the moment each call started, so Clark missed the other people in Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and browser calls. Clark now also waits for AirPods and other headsets to switch to call audio.
- Check call audio now tests a short, muted tone from another app, as a call needs. It shows Not checked once: check it again in Settings, Listening.
- A calmer window: no toolbar, a slim column of icons with your AIs one click away, Ask Clark's chats in their own list, and a details panel you can resize.
- Waiting for you is short now: the newest three things your AIs did in the last three days, then the rest on request, never repeated in your list below.
- A task your AI says is done stays open until you say so: its Done circle or Looks good marks it done.
- Reminders come only when something new waits, and about the same items at most once a day.
- Your AIs can add a to-do when you ask, or split one in two. One they suggest on their own waits under Maybe.
- Hourly checks are quieter: Clark now asks your AIs to tell you only what needs you. Send the message in Connect AI again to an AI you connected before.
The Clark download now opens to its designed install window: big icons and an arrow to drag Clark into Applications.
Clark now reminds you to look at what your AIs did, and you can answer right from the notification.
- Your list starts with Waiting for you: what your AIs did that you haven't reviewed, with Looks good and Tell Claude right there.
- Names in calls, new: turn it on in Settings, Listening, and people in Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls can show by name instead of a letter.
- Create your Clark account right in setup, and connect your AI as part of it.
- A slimmer window: a rail of icons, with Settings in your profile menu.
- Clark is in Spanish too, following your Mac's language.
- Heard recently reads like a transcript now, and Install and Relaunch finishes the update.
- Clark is now notarized by Apple. macOS asks one last time for the microphone and call audio.
- New Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, for ages 16 and up.
- On 0.6.1 or older? If Install and Relaunch doesn't finish, download Clark once from the website.
Your list is now cards: click one to see its details on the side. Tabs sit in the middle, and search opens from its icon.
- Connecting an AI walks you through each step, up to the first message you send it.
- Clark’s spoken answers use a more natural voice by default, with native Spanish voices. Only the text of each answer goes to the voice service the Privacy Policy names. Turn it off in Settings › Hey Clark.
- New: the account menu in the sidebar, Edit and Save in Settings, and Muse’s own logo.
- Setup asks you to accept the recording note again, because its wording changed.
Clark now listens when you choose: calls start it with a banner, and in person you turn it on (⌃⌥⌘L).
- Your AIs see what Clark saved, not full conversations, unless you allow it for each AI.
- New: Delete this conversation and Forget the last 5 minutes.
- Not in this version yet: posting the notice in the call chat, and “Hey Clark” while Clark is off.
Clark now tells you when a new version is ready and installs it for you.
- A new switch in Settings › Hey Clark chooses Clark’s voice. It starts off, so Clark speaks with your Mac’s own voice.
- If your account isn’t set up on the Clark server yet, Clark now tells you so.
- Clark’s icon no longer shows a light border on macOS 26.
Clark has its own window, with your list, Ask Clark and Connect AI.
- Your AIs can mark a to-do done or correct its details, and you can undo it.
- Bluetooth earphones no longer stop Clark, and “Hey Clark” works more often, in Spanish too.
- Conversations are turned into text only on your Mac.
- Clark shows in the Dock while one of its windows is open.
Clark now reads each whole conversation and saves the to-dos, promises and details by itself, with their context. No more save prompts.
- Say “Hey Clark” to ask what you promised, when something is due, or what someone said.
- Clark hands each to-do to the AI that fits, and Grok joins Claude, ChatGPT and Muse.
- Setup walks you through each step, including the recording note.
- The download opens in a new install window: drag Clark into Applications.
Clark learns your voice in setup, so it knows which lines are yours.
- It understands English and Spanish, even in the same conversation.
- On calls, Clark hears the other people through the call app’s sound, never music or videos in other apps.
- Your AIs can see what’s new since they last checked and mark what they handled, and Muse can connect too.
- Heard recently in the menu bar shows the last few lines Clark heard.
The first preview of Clark for Mac: it lives in your menu bar, turns the conversations you record into text on your Mac, and suggests what to keep.
- What you choose to keep goes to your Clark account.
- Connect Claude or ChatGPT, and they can look up what you kept.
